Third season for the exciting GetAway Camp for teens
who have just finished 7th, 8th, or 9th grade!
This overnight camp begins with a 2-hr chartered bus ride to Brookhaven Retreat in Hawkins, TX. It will be a new adventure for many, who have never gone to an away-from-home camp. Or even if you have experienced a resident camp, get ready for one with that Special Camp Thurman touch!
Campfires, basketball, slap-dodgeball, field games, and night-time activities. Songs and skits (with you as the performer), board and card games in the meeting hall, time to just enjoy new and old friends.
Guest speakers for our exciting worship times and quiet individual devotion times will open your heart and mind to the presence of God.

Outdoor fun!
Playing outdoors, cookouts with hotdogs and s'mores, basketball, soccer, slap-dodgeball, team games, softball, hikes to the lake, and forest trails. |

Communicate with God!
The air-conditioned meeting hall is just waiting for an exciting worship and praise time through song and skits and guest speakers to stretch your faith! |

This camp will be limited to 60 campers, and while the program is chock full of energetic activities,
you'll also have plenty of time to get "connected" with both your friends and the staff.
Cost for this camp is $395.
The fee covers registration, transportation, lodging, meals, a special GetAway T-Shirt, and a photo.
All meals will be prepared and served by the Brookhaven staff.
