Camp Thurman is a non-resident Christian Camp which was founded in
1969. Both the office and the campgrounds of Camp Thurman are
located at 3001 Sarah Dr. in Pantego, TX. We are one block
north of Pioneer Parkway (also called 303) and one block west of S.
Bowen Dr. You'll find more specific directions on our
What Campers Need to Know page.
The Camp Office is currently
open Wednesdays from 10:00 to 6:00.

through Friday.
Our
senior director is James C. Rose. Jim has been on the
administrative staff for more than 30 years. He supervises
all the aspects of the camp, including the summer day and
evening camps, the team building workshops for groups, the
Family Treasure Days, and staff/leadership training camps. You may reach him at

CT's Administrator
is Kristin Kimmell. Kristin was part of the
counseling staff for 6 years and has now been on
the administrative staff for 13 years. As
administrator, she is personnel supervisor, office
manager, merchandising manager, and in-house

Director of Team
Challenge and CIT Supervisor is Cindy Hatchell.
Cindy has been a part of the CT administrative
staff for 9 years. She works with school,
sports, corporate and community groups to
provide teambuilding challenge programs. You may reach her at

Our Registrar is
Glenda Keilstrup. She is also our
webmaster and summer schedule supervisor.
Glenda has been a part of the administrative team
for 14 years. You may reach her at

Also on the
administrative staff are Blake Bowman and Byron Rose. Blake is
site director for the summer camp and Byron is summer camp program
director. In the non-summer season Blake is a teacher at Saginaw
Elementary and Byron is a full-time student at UTA, majoring
in Engineering.
Vicki Stephan is assistant registrar and has been at CT for 4 years.

administrative staff trains and works with over 275 young people for
the summer season and an additional 15 certified facilitators for
the Team Building workshops.
Camp Thurman is a
non-profit organization directed by a 12-member board of advisors.
Our mission is to provide for all
ages safe, fun, wholesome outdoor programs, which demonstrate God's
love, while helping individuals discover who they are in Christ.
