Leadership Camp for Staff Development

CIT-IT Camps will be offered on
two different weeks in 2011

Ready to begin your journey to
becoming a part of our CT Staff?

The CIT-IT Leadership Training camp is for 7th graders only
and is designed to help you explore your leadership skills,
to develop your problem solving and communication skills,
and to introduce you to the idea of becoming a part of the
Camp Thurman staff community.
During this camp, we will build your skills to help
you work as a team with other seventh graders and see
first-hand how our CT team works together to make camp a
fun experience for our many campers each summer.
In 2011, the camp will be somewhat different from those
of years past. It will be a partial overnight, partial at-camp
training. The camp will begin on Sunday afternoon at the
overnight camp in Flower Mound and will continue there
until Tuesday evening. Then on Wednesday and Thursday
you will work at camp both with groups and with activities.

The training schedule consists of learning and facilitating low elements, learning safety skills, and becoming a helpmate for many of the camp activities. The camp also consists of fun activities, team building, and

            Camp Cost - $225

Camp Dates:
Week 2 (June 12-16) or Week 4 (June 26-30)
Hours are 3PM Sunday to 7PM Tuesday at away-camp,
Wed and Thurs at CT,
7:30-4:30
