Do You Remember These?

Pudding cups, kid lockups,
     Orange speedos by the pool.
Clean your room, where's the broom?
     Get that lizard off the stool!
Swimsuit checks, old card decks
     And the bus ride from the school.
Ah, we thought this stuff was cool!

Games we played, banana relay.
     Whipped cream in our face.
Cabin time that fit the crime
     Don't be the camp disgrace.
Basketball, volleyball
     They tried to win the race.
Ah, this really was the place.

The big bullhorn, burnt pop corn
     The kids all sayin' please.
Gourmet meals, staff's appeal
     With kids cookin' Mac 'n Cheese.
Cooking steaks, eatin' cakes,
     When will that ice cream freeze?
Ah, we do remember these.

Teams compete, It was neat.
     The swimmers havin' fun.
Synchronized, in their eyes,
     They lasted way past one.
Paralyzed boys, checkin' for noise,
     The coolwhip buyin' run
Ah, she got up with the sun!

Dawson's Creek, the night was bleak,
     We ended skits that night.
It was sad, a crazy fad,
     They really were a sight!
We survived, not canonized
     But we made it through that night.
Ah, we loved them all despite!

Relay games, not the same
     Frau K knew what to do
She's the best, forget the rest
     No one does it just llike you!
We all think, she's the strongest link
     No one even has a clue!
Ah, we still remember you!

Ah, Frau K, why can't you stay
     For another 20 years?
We will pout, there's not doubt
     There will be lots of tears.
We'll try to cope, I guess there's hope
     With God, where are the fears?
Ah, He'll get us all in gear!
