About Camp Thurman

If your family is registered for Summer Camp, you are invited to attend the Open House on Saturday, June 5th, 2010, anytime between 10AM and 3PM.
Come see what's new, meet the staff, pick-up or purchase 2010 T-Shirts, and check out the activities!

The Lord continues to bring us record numbers of campers, and to continue the ministry at this pace, Camp Thurman needs to expand.

There is a need for another 100 Camper Scholarships.

The community is asking for expanded programs for different ages, including leadership training for 13-17 yr olds in an overnight setting, more team building, and family camps.

New Summer Activities

One of the most popular activities in Summer 2008 was the slap dodge ball court, so this year we've added another court - close to the Scout's Triangle.

6th Graders in regular day camp will continue to have Wednesdays as a special 6th grade competition day! And for a full week of team competitions and special new Tween activities, the new afternoon ETC camps are open for registration Week 4 and Week 7.

Both the Kidron Valley and Jordan Gully now have exciting new rope elements for both harnessed and free-play activities.

CT will be hosting the Petting Zoo for two days a week this summer so that more of the campers will be able to enjoy mingling with these special visitors!
