Camp Thurman considers past
staff members an important part of what CT is today. We are so
thankful for all of the young people who have given part of their
lives to minister to children during the camp programs. Many
of you have told us that your time at CT is a treasured memory and a
part of who you are today, so in 2005 we began what we hope will be
a long tradition of Staff Reunions to be held every other year.
Below you can read a report of the first one which was held in 2005.
Each reunion is designed to give ex-staff members a chance to
re-unite with others, to enjoy a day of family fun, and to
re-connect with the administrative staff to add your input to the
current CT program.

What fun!
About 70 Camp Thurman staff members and their families representing
four decades celebrated friendships and good times during the six
hour Reunion held last Saturday at the campgrounds.
Lunch was provided by the camp, the Bowmans' Texas Pit Barbecue and
the Bolivers' Super Suppers. Families swam, rode the zipline,
climbed the walls, tried their hand at the ranges, played and zipped
on the K-Klimb, and spent time telling tales of the "old days" at
Camp Thurman.
The time was so
successful, it's planned to repeat it every other year. If you
are an ex-staff member, plan to be a part of the next one.
