For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

— Galatians 3:27-28 (NIV)

Canada

Canada is extremely excited to return to CT for his fourth summer, all of which have been as a counselor! This May, Canada was honored to graduate from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics with a Minor in History, and is now pursuing his teacher’s certification. He hopes to combine his passion for history and economics with his love of others by becoming a high school social studies teacher. At Baylor, Canada was a member of the Baylor Religious Hour Choir (BRH), which leads worship at churches across the state of Texas, and of the Baylor Quidditch Association, where he finished his career as a starting beater and helped bring his team to nationals.

Canada loves sports and outdoor activities, and is a huge hockey fan (Go, Stars!), although the only sport he ever played growing up was soccer. Canada has a deep and abounding passion for the arts, and loves playing piano, singing, and acting. He recently served as a narrator and acting coach for the 5th and 6th grade production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR. at Kennedale’s James. A. Arthur Intermediate, and looks forward to returning to the stage next spring for the first ever Kennedale Community Theatre production!
