Denim

Hello Camp Thurman! This is Denim, she has been on camp grounds for many years now as she was a camper as a kid, then participated in the CITIT program, then went on to work for Camp Thurman. This will be her fifth summer working for camp and second year as a counselor. Most of the time you will be able to find her on one of the ropes elements encouraging kids to conquer their fears and push on. During the year when Denim isn’t at CT she studies Christian Camp Ministry through the Outdoor Leadership program at Colorado Christian University.

She will be a Sophomore this next school year and works for the CCU Athletic Association. Denim’s ultimate goal through her studies are to write up camp programs, as well as someday manage the programming at a Christian camp. Camp Thurman holds a special place in Denim’s heart as she has been transformed by the magic that happens inside of these gates. She fell in love with Camp Thurman and everything it stands for as a camper and just can’t stay away from her favorite place on earth. Denim is so excited for this summer and can’t wait to get back out to camp to continue to do the work that God has called her to do.
