Feature

Feature is so excited to be at Camp Thurman for his fourth year as a staff member, and his first year as a counselor! When he was a camper, Feature attended CT for nine summers. Feature graduated from Richland High School in May of 2017, and will attend the University of Oklahoma for his freshman year in the fall. He intends to begin a major in international business, with a minor in political science. Originally, Feature had the intentions of receiving an appointment to attend the United States Naval Academy, but God had better plans for him! After his first year at OU, Feature will reconsider applying to one of the US Service Academies. No matter where he receives a degree, Feature has the intentions of joining the military.

Since he was a kid, Feature has always been called by our Father to a life of service. God has shown him that putting others before yourself can give you the unique ability to understand what your limits are as a person, Christian, and man or woman of God. Camp Thurman has given him the opportunity to serve people of all ages, and find his own identity in Christ. He finds great joy in seeing people of all ages find joy in our Father. During camp, Feature loves hanging out with his group at the Power Pole and the Zip-line, but slap-dodge-ball is always a classic favorite for him!

Feature considers it an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to lead and be with your children this summer, and have the chance to help them grow in their walk with Christ!
