INFORMATION FOR CHOOSING THE CORRECT DOWNLOADS:
If you will be 16 or 17 by June 13th, and you have NEVER worked at
Camp Thurman before, please download the New Assistants Training Dates,
Written Interview for New Staff, and Youth Leader Reference Letter.
If you will be 16 or 17 by June 13th, and you HAVE worked at
Camp Thurman before, please download the Returning Assistants Training Dates
and Written Interview for Returning Staff.
If you will be 18 or older by June 13th, and you have NEVER worked at
Camp Thurman before, please download the New Counselors Training Dates,
Written Interview for New Staff, and Youth Leader Reference Letter.
If you will be 18 or older by June 13th, and you HAVE worked at
Camp Thurman before, please download the Returning Counselors Training Dates
and Written Interview for Returning Staff.
If you are age 13-15 and are finishing 8th or 9th grade,
and have NEVER worked at CT before,
please download the CIT Training Dates and
Youth Leader Reference Letter.
If you are age 13-15 and are finishing 8th or 9th grade,
and you HAVE worked at Camp Thurman before,

Staff Manual
All Counselors must bring a copy of this manual with them to the retreat.

Returning Counselors: If you still have your copy from last year, you don't need to print it off.
New counselors: When you print it off, use the multiple-page setting and print 2 pages per 8.5 x 11 sheet.
Assistants need to download it and read it. CITs will be asked to read specific pages. Counselors, Assistants, and CITs will all be required to pass a test based on the information in this manual.

CITs - What should I read from the Manual?
During training you will be given more specific information about daily tasks and schedules for both group and activity CITs, but here are areas from the general Staff Manual that you should read in advance:
                    From the Index:
                         A. Sections 1, 2, and 3
                         B. Section 4
                         C. All of this division
                         D. Sections 3, 4 (first 2 pages), 7, and 9
                         E. Section 1 and 9
                         G. Section 2h and Sections 3e, 3f, and 3g
                         Appendix - all but Section 3
