Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
— 1 Peter 3:4 (NIV)
This is H2o’s first year working at camp! She typically spends summers working abroad on missions but decided to pursue her passion for children here in Arlington this summer. H2o is a senior at Dallas Baptist University where she is majoring in history, seeking to get her secondary education certification. Upon graduation, she hopes to get an opportunity begin a teaching career while continuing her education in grad school. H2o has been pursuing a a relationship with Christ for about 4 years and is still just as on fire for the Lord today as she was the day she met Him. H2o loves Camp Thurman because she loves letting her “inner-Kid” out while getting to serve as a role model! She is looking forward to having an impeccable summer with amazing campers!
