Legato

Legato is very excited to start her seventh summer on staff and third summer as a counselor at Camp Thurman! She attended Camp Thurman as a camper for five years and dreamed of the day she would get to lead her own groups in Bible studies, silly songs, and games! Legato is in her third year at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. She is pursuing a degree in Music Education because of her passion for music and desire to share that love with others! Legato has played the flute for over nine years and is currently learning how to play piano, violin, and cello!

Camp Thurman is a very special place in Legato’s heart because it is where she began her relationship with the Lord as a camper many years ago! In her time as a staff member, Legato has loved getting to share the Bible and her own story with her campers! Legato loves Camp Thurman and couldn’t imagine spending her summer doing anything else other than serving the Lord and growing with her amazing campers! Camp Thurman has been such a blessing to her and she is excited to share that experience with the sweet kiddos! Legato is looking forward to meeting all of the campers and can’t wait to make this the BEST SUMMER YET!
