This will be Nugget’s third year back at camp, and her second as a counselor. Nugget currently attends Stephen F. Austin State University. Next semester will be her sophomore year at college. Nugget is a kinesiology major and a nutrition minor. She aspires to be an athletic trainer after she graduates college. She is on the athletic training team where she works with the football team. Nugget has a passion for helping athletes get better, and get them back on the field quickly and safely. She is excited to be working at the football games next semester. God has been teaching Nugget so many different things at college. He has been teaching her how important community is in her journey with Christ. He is also teaching her to trust in Him more. She has found an incredible group of friends that help her in her walk with Christ. She is excited for many more years with them.

Nugget is so excited to be coming back to camp for another summer. She has fallen in love with Camp Thurman and everything they do. She is so grateful for the people that she has met at camp. She is also excited to help campers with their own journeys with Christ. She is also excited to be called back to Macedonia for a mission trip this summer. God is calling Nugget to serve His people this summer. She is so excited to see what God will be doing at camp, and in her life, this summer!
