Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
1Peter 3:3-4 NIV
Palooza and her family have had a long history with the wonderful place that is Camp Thurman. She had fallen in love with camp and had been a camper since she was four, along with her two cousins and brother. They all grew up and became CITITs, and that was the start of her staff experience. Though having started awhile back, this is Palooza’s second summer as a counselor, and she loves it with all her heart! Palooza will be a junior at Liberty University in Virginia and is studying Digital Media: Video with a minor in Graphic Design. She believes that all forms of art are an amazing platform in spreading the Gospel and wants to use her gifts to do just that in ministries and hopefully create her own Digital Ministry, specifically to help young women find their calling and identity in Christ. Ever since she was four, Palooza has held her pictures, lanyards, and memories close to her heart. She finds helping campers have a safe and fun experience while showing them they are loved by God just like she had, whether in media or as a counselor, an absolute blessing!
