For more than 50 years Bill Sweaney (one of Camp Thurman's founders) taught Sunday School to 2 and 3 year olds.  He and his wife Nona wanted to be a part of helping these kids learn early that Jesus loves them.  This new pre-camp program has the same mission - sharing the love of Jesus in an exciting, safe, fun, outdoor camp with CT's youngest.

June 3-7, 2013 With fewer total campers, smaller groups, and more individual time at each activity, Uncle Bill’s Kids Club is perfect for our little 4 and 5-year old campers. Throughout the week, campers will have the opportunity to participate in different activities each day, including a petting zoo, bounce house, the CT TrikeTrek, ziplines and cargo nets at the Jordan Gully, archery and BB guns at the ranges, crafts, a Slip ‘N Slide and more. Each day, groups will have a Bible time, swimming, and snacks, and all groups end their day together with Skits and Songs.

Uncle Bill’s Kids Club is great for parents too! The smaller number of total campers and more one-on-one interaction with staff gives many younger campers more confidence to participate in activities. Also, no lunch or snacks need to be packed, and there are no long traffic lines for pick-up.

Registration fee is $182 [$167 with early registration discount by Nov. 15th] and includes all camp activities, a special Uncle Bill’s T-shirt, snacks and a photo package. For our 2013 season, Uncle Bill’s is offered only the week of June 3-7 from 9:00 to 12:30.
