Seaweed

Although this is Seaweed’s first year to attend Camp Thurman, she has been attending camps since she was in the pre-school and it has always been her favorite week of the whole year. More recently she has been helping out with her Church’s Middle School camp and growing up helped with her Church’s VBS. She heard about Camp Thurman from her friends through the years and decided that it was not too late to be apart of this amazing community. Her favorite thing about Camp Thurman is the community of love and fun it creates, she believes that it a great environment to be a part of. She just finished her first year at Abilene Christian University, where she is majoring in psychology and specializing in counseling.

She believes that the Lord is leading her towards counseling teens, but she is also very passionate about missions. Later this summer she is going with a team from her University on a mission trip to Kenya, Africa for 3 weeks where she will love and serve on the people of Kenya through fellowship. She is so excited for this summer at Thurman and cant wait to meet and love on her campers.
