See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

1 John 3:1 (ESV)

Slapshot

This is Slapshot’s 8th year at Camp Thurman and 4th year as a counselor. Slapshot has been a part of Camp Thurman since the age of 6, when he started as a camper. He recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics, and plans to attend the University of Michigan in the Spring to pursue a Master’s of Sports Management. With this, he hopes to work in the front office of a professional hockey team as a scout or agent. When not at camp, Slapshot also plays hockey and ultimate frisbee; he was the captain of UTA’s ultimate frisbee team before he graduated.
