Spinner

Spinner is a junior at Texas Christian University studying International Political Science and History with a minor in Asian Studies. She has worked at Camp Thurman for seven years and was a camper herself from the age of seven to thirteen. Camp Thurman has been an integral part of her life as she and all of her siblings have attended and worked at camp. Camp has given her the opportunity to share the love of God in a nurturing environment while experiencing all the glory of the Lord’s creation through the beautiful campgrounds. Working primarily at the pools as a lifeguard, Spinner has been given the opportunity to share His love in a new way at camp recently. Spinner hopes to continue sharing His message by eventually working with refugees while currently working during the year at Refugee Services of Fort Worth and Catholic Charities to bring the Lord’s message of hope, love, and acceptance with people who have overcome tremendous adversity. Camp Thurman has been a driving force in her faith, and through her time at Camp she has gained lifelong friends and a drive to grow stronger in her faith and ministry.
