Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Acapella attends Texas Christian University and is studying music education. She hopes to be either a high school or middle school band director. She absolutely loves kids, which is why she chooses to not only spend her semesters teaching and working with kids but her summers as well! She loves Camp Thurman because it is an amazing outlet the Lord uses to transform the lives of both campers and counselors! The memories and friendships made at camp will last a lifetime!

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believers in Him will never perish, but have eternal life.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing.
1 John 1:9
Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment of promise.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
