Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Matthew 20:28 (ESV)

Flippy has been at Camp Thurman for as long as he can remember. Flippy was a camper from when he was five all the way until he was a night camper! Flippy enjoyed camp so much that as soon as he finished his first year of high school he came running back. Speaking of school, Flip now attends Texas Tech University, and studies hospitality. Flippy’s dream is to master the art of managing a destination resort and live on a tropical island, so he never has to wear sleeves again. Flippy loves camp because of how much fun he has had both with his counselors when he was a camper, and now with his campers as their counselor. He says this is where he makes the most wholesome friends as well, and that he wouldn’t give up CT for the world!
