Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:7-8 (ESV)
Hula has lived in Colleyville, Texas her whole life with her parents and four brothers. She attends Compass Christian Church. She has gone to Camp Thurman since she was four years old, and this is her fourth year on staff. As a camper she always dreamed about becoming a counselor. Hula recently graduated from Grapevine Faith Christian School. She will be attending the University of Texas at Austin this fall to pursue a degree in nursing and hopes to one day become a nurse practitioner. Hula loves CT because she feels very blessed to have this opportunity to share the love and joy of Christ with all her campers. She is so excited to meet all of her wonderful campers this summer and hopes that they will have the best week ever at CT.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believers in Him will never perish, but have eternal life.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing.
1 John 1:9
Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment of promise.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
