And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28 (NIV)

Legato is very excited to start her ninth summer on staff and fifth summer as a counselor at Camp Thurman! She attended Camp Thurman as a camper for five years and dreamed of the day she would get to lead her own groups in Bible studies, silly songs, and games! Legato recently graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. She received a degree in Music Education with an Honors minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has a passion for music and desires to use and share that love with others! Legato has played the flute for over ten years and is currently learning how to play several other instruments, including clarinet, saxophone, and trumpet!
Camp Thurman has a very special place in Legato’s heart because it is where she began her relationship with the Lord as a camper many years ago! In her time as a staff member, Legato has loved getting to share the good news of our Savior and her own story with her campers! Legato loves Camp Thurman and couldn’t imagine spending her summer doing anything else other than serving the Lord and growing with her amazing campers! Camp Thurman has been such a blessing to her and she is excited to share that experience with the sweet kiddos! Legato is looking forward to meeting all of the campers and can’t wait to make this the BEST SUMMER YET!
